Two
Ways To Qualify:
(1) Players who have won their respective season playoffs
receive free entry into the Tourney. Final Deadline
to accept your entry is Oct. 23rd.
(2) We have about 10 at-large bids left for passionate
players who didn't win a championship. These spots will be rewarded
by Tennis League Network senority. Players who have won 15 or more matches
and have played with the Tennis League Network this year are eligible to attend.
At-large entry fee currently is $125 if you sign up by Oct. 23rd.
People who qualify and want to join us in Miami should go here: Enrollment Page.
Current Weekend Progam:
• Friday Noon: 1st set of matches
• Saturday Morning: Mini-Division matches will continue
• Sat. Day: League sponsored Buffet
• Saturday Afternoon: Tournament tennis will take place
• Sunday Day: Tournament concludes by 3 PM.
Rumor has it championship matches could be played on Center Court!
Skill Levels:
Men's Advanced/Elite 4.0-4.5, Competitive 3.5, Skilled/Recreational
Divisions 2.5-3.0 & Women's Competitive 3.5 and Skilled/Recreational
Divisions 2.5-3.0.
Tournament Format:
The event will be run primarily on Hard courts, but our agreement
with Crandon could include some clay courts. Players
will be grouped in mini-divisions of 4 players. A round-robin
will be played using an 8 pro set format (First to win 8 games).
Top two, three or all 4 players from each mini-division will
move onto a single elimination tourney with other same skill
level mini-division qualifiers. The # of qualifiers will be
determined when we know the total # of participants for the
event.
Travel Arrangements:
Travel arrangements will be covered by the players,
not by Tennis League Network, LLC. We have blocked off
rooms for $119/night ($100 off normal rate) at the beautiful
Conrad Hotel.
We also will look for National sponsors to offset some of
the costs and to sweeten the prizes for the participants.
Questions about the national tourney are being answered on our Message Board.
Ultimate Goal:
The tennis should be quite exciting, the players should be amp'd
up for the tourney and if the sponsors arrive it should be well
worth the trip.
